Great Deals for Students

If you need a copy of Microsoft Office 2010, either for yourself or your college student, and have access to an active educational e-mail account (.edu), Microsoft's "Ultimate Steal" is back. You can get Office 2010 Professional Academic for just $80.00 directly from Microsoft. Who knows how long this will last.

Interesting questions I've received lately (click to open):

Do Ad-Aware and Spybot conflict?

Spyware scanners generally do not conflict, because most of them don't run all the time. If I were doing a scan for problems, I wouldn't run both scans at the same time, but I would run one after the other. One will usually find something that the other didn't. No one spyware scanner is perfect.

You SHOULD NOT, however, run more than one anti-virus.

Can I delete files on my C: root drive that show as blue?
The only files on the root of C: drive that I would delete are the files from Windows Update. Files that are colored blue are compressed files. I would not touch them.

Where do I find it?
